A Founder's Story: From Grief to Purpose
The story of Beyond Brotherhood begins with the founder's profound loss. In January 2024, he lost his wife after a painful battle with a terminal illness. Faced with grief, he turned to nature, finding solace in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Surrounded by men who understood his pain, Brotherhood began to heal the wound. Influential men's circles like Wyldmen, Sacred Sons, and Man Aligned offered him support during his darkest days. These groups awakened a fire within him, creating a space where other men could experience the same healing, growth, and connection.
Thus, the vision for Beyond Brotherhood was born: to create a Men's Retreat Centre where men would come not just to escape the burdens of life but to confront and transform themselves in the company of other men, grounded in the raw beauty of nature.

Men are facing a silent crisis. According to the Canadian Men's Health Foundation, men are 57% more likely to die prematurely from preventable causes, and rates of suicide among men are alarmingly high—men account for three-quarters of all suicides in Canada. Beyond Brotherhood seeks to address this crisis by offering men a space to reconnect with their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
